When we consciously remember the temporality of this life, we tend to appreciate people and things more. People try to avoid thinking about their loved ones passing on as well as their own passing, but suppressing facts only makes you behave irrationally and eventually filled with regret.
In many circumstances, you will lose people even before they pass.
I am going to die some day. You will cease to know me as I am. You are going to die one day. People will miss you.
Think about your feelings. Get to the core of every fear so that you can appreciate every moment of life. Stop fearing loss and start making every moment matter.
Meditate on temporality as often as you want, but don’t miss out on the various other lessons at every turn.
