Getting locked out of your own account despite having the correct password really opens your eyes. It helps you see that all of the brilliance a brand appears to possess is only smoke and mirrors.
Google’s email service, GMail, is extremely popular and thus, presumed to be the target of many attacks, but why is there no alternative to waiting 3-5 days for a support ticket when I am attempting to retrieve my own emails.
Under urgent circumstances, I would sue Google for causing me to lose precious time and money.
I no longer own the phone number I used when Google initially asked for a phone to keep on file which they told me was JUST IN CASE. Now, I attempt to log in to my email from my computer and suddenly it’s MANDATORY?! With no options but to use the delayed ticket system, I’m left twiddling my thumbs.
Google is not for the people. This is a reminder.
I could continue complaining about how Google omits search results, changed their name and ruined YouTube, but those are topics for another time.
