Smart, evil little girls are synonymous with drama. Look at Kayla from Desperate Housewives and Meagan from Drake & Josh and Anjelica from Rugrats.
Not all children are evil, but people always say all children are innocent because of their age. There might be some instances where the delinquent isn’t to blame, but I can see through their facade.
Some TV programs paint children as completely mature and well-aware of the ethics in decision making, while others are flipped the opposite way.
I remember growing up in San Bernardino, as well as some of its neighboring cities, and the kids I knew were a little like the people I know today. Some were immature, and a couple were mature from hard lives and intelligence. Of course, the adults are a little more jaded and their sentence structure improved over time.
Being evil is a quality that everyone has, but only some people choose to address. Parents usually distinguish some guidelines, but this only applies to non-evil parents.
Kids are people too, and some people are just awful. So, they probably aren’t going to be any less terrible at a young age.
If you have kids, your argument is biased because you’re partial to your own offspring. When you don’t have kids, you have a different perspective.
How many times do you hear “they’re just being kids?” I know that phrase really means, “I’m taking a break from parenting right now so stop complaining.”
They’re not just being kids. They’re being loud, annoying kids. I was a kid once and so were you. Maybe you were bratty, but I was extremely silent and hardly ever noticeable.
Responsibility lies with the parents, but kids are also human too which means they need to be taught how to take responsibility. I’m no parent and I shouldn’t give real parenting advice but this applies to life.
Sorry to all the parents I’ve offended by the way.
Rant over.
