The world keeps trying its damn hardest to keep its people down. This article denotes the banning of homeless people by not allowing them to sleep legally in MANTECA, CA.

Something can be done about this, but everyone is too passive. These are someone’s sons and daughters being treated as less than animals.
There’s something called empathy. It’s when you try to understand exactly what someone is going through or feeling. There was a time when empathy was a common trait among society. It appears the most notoriously charitable do it for their title and ego. The true heroes are those who donate anonymously.
The homeless are subject to beatings, ridicule, discomfort, PTSD, tons of mental illnesses, physical illnesses, exploitation and police brutality.
Only a truly evil being would ever believe that everything homeless people endure is deserved. Even the worst criminals are treated more respectfully.
Your life could be a lot worse. It doesn’t matter what you’ve gone through. You’re using a computer or smartphone right now. You can read and write. You have access to infinite knowledge. You have free will to make decisions that can hurt or help you. You have access to love, whether or not you have realized it yet.
I’ll have you know some of the poorest and most figuratively beaten down people I know are the most peaceful.
They realize the only things in life that matter have nothing to do with money or fame.
Everyone is closer to being homeless than perceived.
If we cannot be selfless enough to spare even a fraction of our expendable fortune, how can you ever expect a stranger to do the same?
Even if you hated yourself, can you not be a benefit to others?
Being passive means doing nothing, or doing something that may as well be nothing, such as liking an online status.
Let’s be assertive. I can’t afford to carry every homeless person but I can try to carry as many as possible. The more support and collaboration received, the more of an influence in this world we can make.
You don’t have to like someone to be a good person. You have to love them enough to make even a small sacrifice that would help them. Sacrifices include time and money, as well as emotional support and other things that aren’t necessarily expensive.
If you haven’t read my last few posts, you’ve never heard my proposed idea to solve homelessness. In summary, it’s a charity plan to buy land, build shelters, hire homeless people and give them another chance at life.
No one can do it alone, so let’s stop letting others make sacrifices alone.
